    • SharePoint 2010 Best Practices Webinar Series: #2 - Migrating SharePoint, File Shares, and Exchange Public Folders to SharePoint Online (BPOS)

      Location:
      Online Webinar Series
      Venue:

      Date:
      21 September 2010 - 21 September 2010

There has recently been a great deal of interest in Microsoft’s BPOS (Business Productivity Online Services) offering. However, while the benefits of using this technology are well documented there is little guidance given about how best to move all the business resources and knowledge contained within existing information silos to Microsoft’s Cloud.

Danny and Rasool will discuss their experiences of migrating to the cloud whilst maintaining business continuity by using products such as Metalogix File Share Migration Manager to migrate customer’s content. Key issues covered in the session are the need to analyse the content within the information silos and to retain and make better use of the metadata associated with that information once it resides in SharePoint Online.

Featured Speaker: Danny Burlage, CTO of Wortell ( Microsoft's Online Services Partner of the Year and owner of the popular blog "BPOS Rocks" )
